 Roasted Chicken Breasts In Maple Syrup Recipe

 Roasted Chicken Breasts In Maple Syrup Recipe Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Season well with Salt and Pepper
  • 4 large Mushrooms - finely chopped
  • ½ cup Cooked Ham - finely diced
  • ½ tsp.(teaspoon) Dried Chives
  • 3 tbsps. (tablespoons) Butter
  • 1 Fresh Onion - thinly sliced
  • 1 pinch Savoury
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • ½ cup Water


Time: 1 hour

 Roasted Chicken Breasts In Maple Syrup Recipe Instructions & Tips:

  • Roll each breast in flour seasoned with salt and pepper to taste. In skillet, sauté mushrooms, ham and chives in 1 tbsp.(tablespoon). butter. Slit thick portion of each chicken breast to form pocket; insert spoonful of ham mixture. Secure with skewers.
     

  • Add remaining butter to skillet; brown chicken breasts over medium heat. Arrange in shallow casserole. Sauté onion in remaining drippings; add savoury. Spoon over chicken. Pour 1 tbsp.(tablespoon). maple syrup over each chicken breast.
     

  • Add water to skillet and stir up browned bits from bottom of pan; pour into casserole.
     

  • Roast, uncovered, in 350øF oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove skewers before serving.
