 Barley Chicken Soup Recipe

 Barley Chicken Soup Recipe Ingredients:
  • 8 Chicken Legs
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 - 8oz cans Tomatoes - including juice, chopped
  • 2 cups diced Carrots
  • ½ Onion - chopped
  • 2 tbsps. (tablespoons) grated peeled Fresh Ginger
  • 2 tbsps. (tablespoons) minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp.(tablespoon) crumbled Dried Oregano
  • 1 tbsp.(tablespoon) crumbled Dried Basil
  • 1 tsp.(teaspoon) Pre-Prepared English Mustard - not dry
  • ½ cup Barley Regular
  • 1 cup Dry White Wine


Time: 1 hour
30 min
Serves: 8

 Barley Chicken Soup Recipe Instructions & Tips:

  • In one pot mix together all ingredients, bring mixture to a boil. Simmer covered for 45 min.
     

  • Uncover and simmer mixture another 30 min.
     

  • Remove chicken from pot and remove bones and return to pot to reheat the chicken then serve.
